Each new day brings at least one new rumor about iPhone 5 release date. After the whole September 7th fiasco, here is another rumor. If we believe recent report from 9to5Mac, Apple plans to launch iPhone 5 on October 7, with pre-orders beginning one week in advance on September 30.
“Apple currently plans to begin pre-orders for their next-generation smartphone in the final days of September. The company has still not finalized the pre-order start date, but is debating between Thursday, September 29th and Friday, September 30th. The 30th seems more likely at this point according to one of our sources.”
However, 9to5Mac is not yet sure about exact release date. According to sources, Apple has been debating whether to launch the iPhone 5 on October 7 or October 14. Pre-production testing of iPhone 5 is going pretty well so they may plan to release it on the 7th.
Above report supposedly reflects Apple’s current plans, but we need to keep in mind that Apple could change release date again.
The next generation iPhone 5 is expected to feature A5 processor, 8MP camera along with 1080p HD video recording abilities, and a larger screen. Furthermore, it will be running latest iOS 5. Buzz is that Apple may also release a second cheaper phone named iPhone Nano along with iPhone 5.
