It all seems so ridiculous but it might all be true to a large extent – a move from Samsung might actually push the Apple iPhone 5 release to a sooner date than what was anticipated before! It is surely a very strange notion but it might all be true if reports from various corners around the world wide web are to be taken at face value.

A few weeks before, thanks to Samsung Galaxy products being so close in resemblance and performance to iPhone, Apple had to sue and apply for a lawsuit to back off Samsung’s brazen copycat methodology. If you look at Samsung Galaxy and the Samsung Tab Pro, you’d find that these are exact counterparts to the iPhone and iPad. But for the fact that they run different systems from iOS, the design and implementation seems to be quite similar. Probably this is what led Apple to file a lawsuit asking for complete plans of Samsung Galaxy and other products to Apple for verification by an expert-level group. All this has been kept a bit hush-hush but it all seems to have worked the wrong way up in Samsung’s office.

Apple has been probably looking at the designs to make sure the copycat technique is not a suspicious activity within its ranks. However, the plan has somewhat backfired here. Samsung, in the purview of the this context, has now filed an application to get the detailed plans of the iPhone 5 which might be up for release sometime soon from Apple. If some judge gives the decision in favor of Samsung for some insane reason, this might all mean a whole mess-up for Apple’s iPhone 5 on iOS 5 plans.

The iPhone 5 release date or even anything about iPhone 5 is actually unknown as of now. It is all a rumor of sorts. But with the release of iPhone 4 White, it was an educated guess that iPhone 5 would be coming out sometime a bit later than expected but with the entire bells and whistles of iOS 5 which has far more capabilities than the present iOS. This new move by Samsung might actually make iPhone 5 released date sooner than before because it would be better to release the iPhone 5 to the public than give the plans to Samsung – which, no matter how much secure the plans are kept, might get leaked and cause unnecessary damage to Apple’s credibility.

So will Samsung’s move affect iPhone 5 release date? Will it bring us the iPhone 5 closer? Probably yes and if it does, how will it perform? Let’s wait and watch!
