Here is now one more rumors about iPhone 5 release date. If we believe The China Times, Apple is all set to launch iPhone 5 in the second week of September with an opening order of 4 million units. According to the suppliers, 400,000 trial iPhone 5 units are under preparation. China Times also claims that the next generation iPad 3 release date may be delayed until Thanksgiving because of component shortages.

The track record of the China Times is little shady about their Apple-related rumors. However, they seem to be close to suppliers of Apple in China. So they may have well knowledge of production plans. There wasn’t iPhone release during this year’s WWDC. So Apple is supposed to include the iPhone 5 launch at this September iPod media event along with public release of iOS 5.
