All the new products like iOS 5, iCloud, Mac OS X Lion are coming to WWDC event. However, there is less hope that we will hear anything about iPhone 5 release date. Recently, Brian White, an analyst for Ticonderoga Securities analyzed that the iPhone 5 will be launched in September 2011, not at WWDC.

Another strong reason which we didn’t find in his analysis was that the recent quake in Japan. It has left Apple’s appointed manufacturer for their lithium ion batteries shut down. Because of this production halt, supply of the materials Apple uses for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are now on short. And there is no clue when the plant will be open again.

If we take a look at the news from several reliable sources this week, they suggest that the WWDC 2011 is not going to reveal anything about new hardware (iPhone 5 and iPad 3). It will be all about new software like iOS 5.

Could shortage the batteries be the reason behind the delay of the iPhone 5 release date? There is no doubt that iPhone 5 is going to sell in millions when it will be launched. So we can also assume that Apple wants to make enough stock of iPhone 5 before its lauching. So what do you think? We would like to hear your openion in below comment box.
