However, an anonymous tipster working for Phones 4U in the UK claims that iPhone 5 release date has been moved to November 2011. Phones 4U is a mobile retailer in Britain which sells all carriers handsets and plans as well.

The next generation iPhone 5 will hit the stores across the UK on November 21st 2011, according to a representative from the Phones 4U. In an exclusive talk with T3.com, a customer representative at the St Albans branch of Phones4U confirmed that “iPhone 5 has been delayed until November following an issue with the handset’s software.”

Along with that the retailer said that iPhone 5 will “be pretty much the same as the iPhone 4 with new software. The software is the main difference with the iPhone 5.”
