Here AT&T confirms that iPhone 5 is not going to launch in Jun or July 2011. Actually one of the readers of MacRumors noticed that upgrade eligibility of his iPhone had been pushed back by five months without any clear reason. So that reader contacted the AT&T Customer Care and here what AT&T representative said:

“Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July timeframe, though there will be a newer version in the future. Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our website when it is available to us.”

Do you think we can trust a customer care guy with such information? Because we all know that Apple has never delayed the iPhone launch since 2007 when the iPhone was launched for the first time. Apart from that there have been other iPhone 5 rumors suggesting iPhone 5 release date is scheduled to September 2011 because of major design changes and shortage of manufacturing components.
